When accepting commissioned work I choose projects that give me more creative latitude, where I can express my own visual style. It would have been trivial (yet dull) to simply recreate the lettering of bender’s logo… instead, I opted to add a unique graphic design to the background of the mural.



I created several designs (above) for the client to choose from. I wanted something energetic and colorful, yet sophisticated.
The president of the company had previously commissioned a pop-art style sculpture for her home, so I was pleased that she was happy enough with it that she also wanted me to make something for her workplace as well.

The completed piece measures approx. 60″ x 30″ and is mounted to a sturdy frame for easy wall-mounting.
