I designed these figurines many years ago for a Chinese couple getting married in Hong Kong, as an alternative to the traditional western bride & groom wedding cake toppers that I produce.

More recently I recreated these figures and presented them as a gift to LEGO Shanghai as thanks for hosting me during a brief series of appearances and meetings in Shanghai and Beijing. (Some news coverage of which is here and here.)
