While authoring my book Cool Cars and Trucks in 2007, I was visiting Vienna. As I walked passed one of their MAN Recycling Trucks, I exclaimed out loud, “Now that’s a cool car!” Much to the bemusement of the local sanitation staff, I then proceeded to take photos of the truck from every angle.

When I returned to New York, I built this model of the truck. It was originally going to be included in the book, but never made the cut.
